April Dance Fest
The 2024 April Dance Fest (**CCC QUALIFIER EVENT)
Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Crystal Ballroom

DanceSport BC would like to invite local ballroom dancers to this affordable one-day competition. April Dance Fest is a welcoming competition for all ages and all levels to showcase their dancing ability and gain competition experience.
Important Information
– April Dance Fest 2024 is the CCC Qualifier. This will be DanceSport BC’s official qualifying competition for the 2024 Canadian Closed Championships which will be held on April 19 & 20 in Ontario. All members wishing to compete in the 2024 CCC must first compete with the same partner at the same events in this qualifying competition. One member of a partnership must be a Canadian Citizen to qualify for the CCC. (Please check the Ontario DanceSport website https://www.ontariodancesport.com/page16.html for more information on the 2024 CCC)
– New Age Category “Senior V” in Standard only – Both partners must have reached their 70th birthday or more in the calendar year (1954 or before)
– You must be a current member of DanceSport BC (DSBC) or an affiliated DanceSport association recognized by DSBC. To purchase/renew your membership, please download the membership form here – follow the instructions on the form for purchase/renewal and payment.
Competition Registration

Entry Deadline: March 25, 2024. Late entries will only be accepted if this does not necessitate further rounds.
Full day admission tickets to the ballroom will be required and available for purchase at the door. There will be no entry fee for Competition Event Entries.

Competition Event Entries: FREE, NO ENTRY FEE
Admission: Full day admission tickets available at the door (cash only) – Each person must purchase a ticket for admission to the ballroom. – Adult $40, Child $15 (ages 15 & under)
Competitor Registration: Register on O2CM – $5 cash deposit for competitor number
