We are running every night from June 29 to August 31, giving you a total of 10 free dance lessons, 20 dance performances, and over 20 hours of open floor ballroom dancing!
The evening schedule starts at 8:00pm sharp
8:00 – Free Beginner Dance Lesson
8:30 – General Dancing
9:00 – Showtime 1
9:20 – General Dancing
10:00 – Showtime 2
10:15 – General Dancing
11:00 – Last Waltz

Robson Square (GE Plaza) just behind the Vancouver Art Gallery (At Robson and Howe below street level).
Like always, this is a great outdoor event that runs rain or shine as we are well protected by the beautiful domes. Be sure to bring your friend that says “I’ve been meaning to take a ballroom class” or the relative that really needs a few more pointers on how to dance and a few less pointers from the 40s. The environment is great for all ages and abilities. Bag-check, washrooms and parking are available.
From 1991-2006, DanceSport BC has put on a social ballroom dance event every Friday during the summer months. We came back in 2011 and are here again in 2012! Boasting more than 800 attendees a night, people of all ages gather for a fun-fill night of dancing. Whether you are a dance professional or have two left feet; on your 10,000th date or your first; with a group of old friends or getting to know a new city, these dances are for you.
